Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be offering a chance to win $60,000; $20,000 each day - July 4, 5 & 6 - from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a grand prize drawing at 7 p.m. for Player's Club members. Restaurants inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be offering a variety of July 4 All-American specials. The Council Oak Steaks and Seafood Restaurant will be featuring Maine Lobster Pot Pie with sweet corn, chanterelle mushrooms and peas in a rich lobster broth for $18; Pan-Seared Alaskan Halibut with celery root puree, whitewater clams and roasted garlic butter for $36 and Grilled Double-Cut Colorado Venison with sweet potato hash, braised chard and Washington apple jus for $54. The Beach Club will be featuring a $12 Grilled Tuna Tortilla Wrap with spinach, tomato, portabella mushrooms, onions and Asian dressing accompanied by a fruit kabob from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m and the Blue Plate will be serving up Grilled Beef Tenderloin Medallions with au poivre sauce and portabella mashed potatoes for $24; Grilled Cajun Chicken Breast served with mango pineapple sauce, citrus-infused wild rice and sautéed French green beans for $16 and Panko Encrusted Cod with a seafood risotto cake and sautéed vegetables in a lemon butter sauce for $16. * Tax and gratuity not included.
Seminole Paradise will be showcasing roaming fire dancers and stilt walkers throughout July 4th evening. Keeping the celebratory atmosphere flowing will be DJ Steve Levy at Center Fountain beginning at 5 p.m. Seminole Okalee Indian Village will be providing a variety of animals for special photo opportunities for a $3 per person admission fee from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Then, at 9 p.m., catch a spectacular musically synchronized Independence Day fireworks display over Lake Paradise.
